DESIGN PROCESS
project stages
REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS
The first and most important stage of the design process is getting to know the Client, in particular his needs, plans and dreams regarding the planned interior. A detailed conversation aimed at developing the basic guidelines is important to start and efficiently carry out all design works. The necessary information concerns the rooms equipment, preferred style, materials, colors, but also the Investors lifestyle and the budget for the project and its implementation. Project scope, deadlines and subsequent stages of cooperation are also determined. One meeting is usually enough to gather all required information. Within a few days, guidelines and an action plan are prepared.
1
REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS
INVENTORY
Assessment of the existing condition, which is the basis for the next stages of the project. Prepared measurements of individual rooms at the investment site, water and sewage connections, electrical connections. Conducting an insolation analysis and preparing photographic documentation are the final steps of this phase. Additionally, the quality of construction works is verified. The time of inventory work depends on the investment area and number of rooms, usually you need to reserve a few hours.

INVENTORY
DESIGN CONCEPT
Taking into account the needs and lifestyle of the Client, as well as the main purpose of the investment, a functional layout is prepared. The functions and layout of individual rooms as well as elements of equipment are determined - all this with respect to the principles of ergonomics, to ensure the efficient and comfortable functioning of future users. Usually 2-3 layout concepts are prepared in the form of projections. At this stage the layout concept is simplified, without any specific materials, lighting or colors. After considering any comments, corrections are made and the final functional arrangement of the interior is created.
3
DESIGN CONCEPT
VISUALIZATIONS
Selection of specific materials, colors, furniture, lighting and decorative elements. The whole is presented in the form of a 3D visualization - approx. 2-3 photos are prepared for each room.
4
VISUALIZATIONS
TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
Technical documentation of the project - all the guidelines necessary to implement the design assumptions, including dimensioned drawings (projections, sections, views) with comments and descriptions for contractors. In more detail this stage contains preparation of drawings regarding water and sewage connections, electrical connections, finishing of floors and individual walls, suspended ceilings, as well as custom-made furniture. Additionally, a quantitative list of finishing materials and equipment elements used in the project is prepared.
5
TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
HELP IN PURCHASE
There is a possibility of assistance during shopping – designer’s presence in specific stores and showrooms when choosing materials and furnishing products. Details of this stage, including the number of joint visits to stores, are determined individually, depending on the customer's needs.
6
HELP IN PURCHASE
SUPERVISION
Supervision of performed contractors work, i.e. ensuring that the execution is in line with the design assumptions. Stage objective is to minimize the errors that can be made and relieve the Client’s responsibilities related to the implementation of the project.
